“Knerten” is a nice and cosy cabin near the center of Sjusjøen. The cabin has four bedrooms and room for eight persons. One of the bedrooms is on the loft and has a pitched ceiling. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. The toilet is in a separate room. Secluded location at the end of a road.
This cabin has had a “make over” in the hall, kitchen and living room in 2023. The owner has also painted the cabin in a different colour on the exterior.

Only 150 meters away, you can get into skitracks that stretch for miles.
In the summerseason, there are plenty of different hikes and routes for trips by bike.
The center of Sjusjøen is only 2 km away. There you will find a grocery shop, a sportsshop where you also can rent skis or bikes, a restaurant and a restaurant/bar. In the summer, it is possible to go for a swim in the lake, or go fishing.
You can get to Lillehammer in about 30 minutes. Lillehammer is a charming city with small shops and places to sit down for a meal or just for a cup of coffee. The outdoor museum, Maihaugen, is open all year, but has most activity during the summer.
A little bit further north, you can find the two popular familyparks Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer.
Hunderfossen is based on Norwegian folk tails and has a lot of fun attractions. This park is also open for a limited time during the winter. Lilleputthammer is old Lillehammer in miniature, and has also some fun attractions. Most suitbale for the younger ones.
