Nice and cosy cabin with annex near the center of Sjusjøen. The cabin were totally renovated in 2003-2005, and in 2021 it was painted and some of the furniture were replaced.
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms. One with a double bed, and one with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is also a partly open loft with one bed that is 120 cm, and three single beds. The loft does not have full roof height, but the floor is about 40 sqm and is a great room for the younger ones in the family. It also has a sofa and a TV.
From the breakfasttable, you can look down at the “Sjusjøen” lake, and on the other side there is a great view towards Gjøvik. The cabin has a covered entrance area with spotlights. The hall is spacious with slate stones and floor heating.
The living room has a comfortable sofa and Tv with channels from Viasat. There is a fireplace in the living room and in the kitchen.
In the kitchen there is a new stove with ceramic top, dishwasher, microwave and a fridge.
From the kitchen, you can get directly out on the big terrasse.
Bathroom with good size and floor heeating. Separate toilet.
Separate shed for skis and fire wood.

Only 50 meters from the cabin, you can get into skitracks that stretch for miles.
In the summerseason, there are plenty of different hikes and routes for trips by bike.
The center of Sjusjøen is 2 km away. There you will find a grocery shop, a sportsshop where you also can rent skis or bikes, a restaurant and a restaurant/bar. In the summer, it is possible to go for a swim in the lake, or go fishing.
You can get to Lillehammer in about 30 minutes. Lillehammer is a charming city with small shops and places to sit down for a meal or just for a cup of coffee. The outdoor museum, Maihaugen, is open all year, but has most activity during the summer.
A little bit further north, you can find the two popular familyparks Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer.
Hunderfossen is based on Norwegian folk tails and has a lot of fun attractions. This park is also open for a limited time during the winter. Lilleputthammer is old Lillehammer in miniature, and has also some fun attractions. Most suitbale for the younger ones.
