In the summer season, there are plenty of different hikes and routes for bike trips.
Sjusjøen’s center is only 1km away (during wintertime it is 2.5 km by car). There you will find a grocery store, a sports shop where you can rent skis or bikes, restaurant, and a restaurant & pub. In the summer, it is possible to go for a swim in the lake or go fishing. Dogsledding is available through a local company.

Lillehammer is 18 km away and is a charming city that hosted the Winter Olympics in 1992. There are dozens of restaurants, cafes, galleries and boutiques – as well as a nice art museum. The surrounding area features the Olympic ski jump and Maihaugen, an outdoor museum with buildings from 1700s.
